Paolo Patrizi receives Honorary Mention in Anthropographia Awards
Tuesday 8th of March 2011
A photo essay by Lensmodern member Paolo Patrizi on Migration linked to Prostitution received an honorary mention at the 2011 Anthropographia Awards for Human Rights.
Founded in the city of Montréal in 2008, Anthropographia is a volunteer-run non-profit organisation that generates awareness of under publicized human rights issues through visual story telling. Their work includes supporting professional photojournalists through exhibition sponsorship and providing networks, as well as running workshops which enable those directly affected by human rights abuses to become visual storytellers themselves. The series of sixteen images was published in the fine art magazine 'European Photography' and by the on-line Byte magazine.
