Paolo Patrizi's Starlings awarded Honorable Mention

One of Paolo Patrizi's beautiful series of images of European Starlings in Rome has received an Honorable Mention in the Lens Culture International Exposure Awards 2009. Lens Culture is an online photography magazine featuring international contemporary photography, art, media and world cultures. Its competition attracted more than 6000 photographs from photographers in 48 countries, and their international panel of judges included Stephen Mayes, Director of VII Photo in New York, Korean curator Sujong Song, Xavier Canonne, Director of the Musée de la Photographie in Belgium, US marketing expert Mary Virginia Swanson, photographer and author Christopher Rauschenberg, Stefanie Braun, curator at The Photographers' Gallery, London and Jim Casper, editor and publisher of Lens Culture.
