Success for Lensmodern members in Panoramic Awards

Thursday 24th of June 2010

Elina Moriya's 3rd placed entry in The Built Environment category of the inaugral EOPSON International Pano Awards for panoramic photography

Adam Hinton and Elina Moriya have both had images selected for the inaugural EPSON International Pano Awards, which is dedicated to the art of panoramic photography. Advances in digital photography and software has resulted in an explosion in the popularity of image stitching, especially in the panoramic format, and panoramic film photography remains very much alive. These Awards aim to showcase the work of panoramic photographers worldwide and be the largest and most important competition for panoramic photography. A total of 2740 images were entered by 945 photographers in 79 countries - a very healthy number for the first year of a competition.
Both Elina and Adam had two images selected in the top 50 winners of 'The Built Environment' category, with Elina's being placed 3rd (shown above) and 13th, and Adam's 8th and 33rd. You can see the selected entries in this, and the other categories, at www.thepanoawards.com.
